Orphaned by the age of eleven, Hevyn Heartbreaker began her life outside of the law. She continually ran away from foster homes until the system gave up on her and locked her up on Verilium 6 – a female detention center on Mars. In 3251, she was released and vanished from conventional society.

Using stolen Xenobox military technology, Hevyn has made a small name for herself as a thief and mercenary. Her skills are a favorite among Plastique Hackers and B-1 Grade Commercial Reconnaissance Buyers. She is a woman of little morals and heart, filled with a solemn grace. It is said that if you were to see her then you knew your time had come.

Hevyn gained prehumous and posthumous fame by the controversy which arose from the mention of her in two of the Astralnaut, John Cutter’s, critically acclaimed books, Cutter 5.0 & An Opportunists of Time & Space. In each book, Cutter outlines, in detail, many intimate scenes with the elusive Merc, claiming to be the only man to have ever broken her heart. With the 3289 theft of the Xenobox Test Suit Hevyn and Cutter gained unlimited notoriety. Though, a leaked surveillance feed from Xenobox Labs revealed an account of the theft that differed greatly from the chapters in Mr. Cutter’s book.

In the surveillance feed, it was revealed that Hevyn Heartbreaker was the original thief to steal the Xenobox Test Suit and that John Cutter’s expected/unexpected temporal arrival caused a massive energy feed to the lab, and to Hevyn’s armor. By shorting out Hevyn’s armor Cutter temporarily rendered Hevyn immobile while he stole the suit from her. The burglary was not, as Cutter had exclaimed in his book, “a daring match of mutual thievery that was only rivaled by our deepest passion for each other.” The video revealed a mishap, which Cutter had exploited.

It is widely known and accepted by historians that Hevyn Heartbreaker killed John Cutter in 6205 when the Emporer Grogonus transported her to the future to assassinate the astral rogue and end a millennium of terror. Whether this truly happened, we will never know for sure. John Cutter provides an alternate account of the events on Grog in his fifth book, Cutting Through 2 U, which was released by Damon Press in 6210. The book was a complete failure, selling only 1,100 copies universally.
